Though LAMTA is not a direct affiliate of NFMC, many of our members are also members of NFMC. Not limited to piano teachers, NFMC events allows students to participate in the festivals listed in the Federation Festivals Bulletin. These festivals provide opportunities for students to earn gold cups, pins and certificates.

Teche District: Lafayette, New Iberia, Opelousas

Our local club is the Acadiana Junior Counselors.

Each teacher’s studio is a Junior Club, with its own distinct name.

Yearly Club Dues:

$19 + $3 per student

A teacher’s entire studio should be enrolled whether or not all students participate in Federation.
